You can use your device of choice, be it an Apple MacBook, Windows PC, Linux PC, Google Chromebook, Android tablet, iOS tablet, Microsoft Continuum etc. With Awingu you work via any available browser, meaning it`s all up to you to choose any device to connect to.
There is no need to install plug-in software on the device of your choice – the only requirement is an up to date HTML5- enabled browser (check our FAQ for supported browsers).
Say hello to our shining star: the Awingu Polygon, serving as a shortcut menu and appearing on your screen once you open an application.
Navigate between apps or provide quick links to common actions such as cut, copy and paste. The Polygon goes wherever you want it by simply dragging and dropping.
Media files opened from the file-browser will enjoy High-Definition video and audio, directly delivered to the browser without delay or stuttering.
Sometimes, a paperless office has its limits. That is why you can print to your local network printer via the Awingu print function. Translation: Print from any device, to any printer connected to the device through the cloud. The Awingu printer can be disabled for specific user(group)s
Reading data from a smartcard into an application (e.g. eID) is possible. (note: this is only supported in IE11 and Firefox browsers)
Simply copy and paste data from one application into another application. This works with text but also with more “complex” elements such as an entire PowerPoint “slide.”
Work on as many screens as you want in real-time.
With 'Auto-start' the admin can define a set of applications that will automatically start in the background at Awingu login. With 'Auto-Focus', the admin can define an application to automatically start in the foreground after Awingu login. This is especially useful if you are an ISV that wants to use Awingu to ‘Saas-ify' your legacy software.
