Sales Executive
DACH REGION

We are looking for a dynamic sales executive to extend our business in the DACH region (Germany, Austria & Switzeland). Awingu has existing customers – incl references – and channel partners in these regions but wishes to accelerate growth. DACH is a priority region for Awingu today. Today, this region is supported from the HQ in Belgium. Given the focus on the DACH, we are looking for a sales executive based in the Germany (or a German speaker in Belgium).

Job description

You run all commercial activities for the DACH region. Your objective is the grow the Awingu business with a focus on channel-based sales. You will work with existing Awingu channel partners, but will also need to grow Awingu channel footprint. Growth in and activation of channel partners will be driven primarily by yourself (existing network, cold contacting, …). You will help and drive sales via channel partners by “setting them up for success”: assure technical trainings, give commercial trainings, support in pre-sales, co-create local marketing activities, …

Next to channel-based sales (priority), you will also create funnel of end-customers. This includes follow-up of ‘inbound’ leads for your region (e.g. via the Awingu website), but also from your own outreach activities. In other words, you will need to build own pipeline to close (typically) via channel partners. You will have an inside sales resource (based in Belgium) to collaborate with, but are expected to be very hands-on and drive your own results (read: pipeline).

You will report directly to the Chief Sales & Marketing.

Your profile
  • You speak German (mother tongue) and English (fluent)
  • You have minimum 3 years of experience in Sales in the IT industry
  • You have a passion for selling: that includes hunting and business development
  • You are based in Germany (and will work from your home-office most of the time) or Belgium.
  • You are hands-on and take matter into your own hands
  • You are tech-savvy and are very aware of the main concepts in IT (no need to be ‘hands-on’ technically skilled)
  • You have solid ‘people’ skills and are well capable of building strong and lasting relations
  • You are transparent and honest in your communication and pipeline management
