Awingu’s partnership with Microsoft is strategic and build around multiple drivers:
- Awingu builds on top of Microsoft technology and more specifically RDS.
- Awingu is available in the Azure marketplace. This makes it real easy for customers (or channel partners) to deploy Awingu. Awingu integrates with many components of Azure: Azure MFA, Azure SQL…
- Awingu works on both the Internet Explorer (11) and Microsoft Edge browser.
- Awingu has a Single-Sign-On connector into Office 365.
Given the strategic nature of the partnership, Awingu has works closely with Microsoft’s product teams as well as drives local G2M initiatives towards channel partners and/or end-customer in a number of countries.

AVIAPARTNER DEPLOYS AWINGU AS A PERFECT ALTERNATIVE TO CITRIX
Aviapartner is one of the leading international independent providers of ground handling services across 37 airports in 6 European countries. They employ around nearly 6000 staff serving needs of 30 million passengers. They also manage cargo handling for around 1 million tons of cargo each year. AviaPartner was fully deployed on Citrix, but they found this to be a cost-inefficient solution for AviaPartner. With a help from Altogee, they chose to try Awingu deployed on Microsoft’s Azure platform.
INFODIDAC BUILDS CLOUD OFFER WITH AWINGU AND MICROSOFT AZURE
InfoDidac is the developer of ‘ProEco’. This is the core administration software, used in 1300 schools in the Belgian French Community. ‘ProEco’ is a legacy software that runs locally on the PC of the end-user. It was not built to run as a SaaS service. In the 21st century, schools and their staff need to work more even more efficiently and flexibly. Infodidac decided to build a cloud version of ProEco, called ‘CloudEco’ by leveraging Awingu and Microsoft Azure.
