Employees are more comfortable and often work faster with their own technology.
Reduced hardware spend, software licensing and device maintenance.
Flexible working often brings more satisfaction to the employees.
We often have to work after hours or from home. With Awingu, it's very easy to take our own device - or any device, for that matter - and log in to our workspace via the browser and have the possibility to work with our applications and data from anywhere on any device.

Awingu makes all software – incl. legacy – and files available in a browser. As such it runs on any device with a browser. And that covers a lot of form factors!
Log in via any browser. There is no need to install any agents or plugins, nor to maintain and manage these locally installed “agents” and “plugins”.
Awingu runs inside the browser. As such, there is no local data on the device (if you don’t want to). This is obviously a big benefit from a security and compliance point of view.
Awingu’s workspace optimizes the user-experience based on the user’s context, e.g. push a mandatory “strong authentication” when logging in from outside the company network.
Given there is no need to manage devices from a deployment or security/compliance perspective, IT organizations can gain significant cost optimizations when adopting browser-based workspace.
Imelda is a mid-sized regional hospital in Bonheiden, near Antwerp (Belgium). They employ about 1900 employees – a mix of Medical Doctors, Nurses, administrative staff and management. Awingu facilitates remote working and introduces Bring Your Own Device (BYOD), while significantly reducing IT support efforts.
The business applications of the Belgian police were developed long before mobile internet existence and are only available through the corporate network. The real police work, on the other hand, which mainly occurs in the field. Awingu builds the bridge between these two worlds.
Citi Orient Securities worked with BlackBerry and Awingu to securely access its legacy applications and files on mobile devices, deploying it to transaction staff, trading staff, and its IT operations department.
BYOD or ‘bring your own device’ is a trend that has been on the rise for the past decade. Many companies have either fully deployed their BYOD strategy or are investigating how to loosen their policies to enable their workforce to work from anywhere, on any device – even if it’s not one that is managed by the company.
This morning I arrived at my office after a 90-minute drive, noticing I forgot to bring my laptop with me. In the morning rush I did bring my bag alright, but I forgot my laptop was still connected to my home office where I was working the night before. However, Awingu made sure I didn't lose a minute of productivity!
