Awingu’s partnership with Microsoft is strategic and build around multiple drivers.

First, Awingu builds on top of Microsoft technology and more specifically RDS.

Secondly, Awingu is available in the Azure marketplace. This makes it real easy for customers (or channel partners) to deploy Awingu. Awingu integrates with many components of Azure: Azure AD, Azure MFA, Azure SQL…

Thirdly: Awingu works on both Internet Explorer (11) and Edge browser. It is also optimized to work on Continuum.

Finally: Awingu has a Single-Sign-On connector into Office 365 and Azure AD.

“With Awingu 3.2 customers can now deploy a fully mobile workspace in a matter of minutes and we are excited that they are doing this by integrating with Azure AD and the Azure Marketplace,” says Steven Guggenheimer, Corporate Vice President & Chief Evangelist, Microsoft.

Given the strategic nature of the partnership, Awingu has works closely with Microsoft’s product teams as well as drives local G2M initiatives towards channel partners and/or end-customer in a number of countries.

Awingu is available in the worldwide Cloud Marketplace of IBM. It facilitates deploying Awingu in IBM’s cloud for channel partners and end-customers.

“We are excited to have Awingu be a part of our IBM Cloud Marketplace,” says Diana Waterson, Global Cloud Ecosystem Sales Leader, IBM. “With mobility and BYOD trends increasingly becoming common in the workplace, Awingu is a great addition to our global cloud services portfolio. In particular, it will enable our partners and customers to run any legacy application from a browser while benefiting from IBM’s Cloud Platform.”

The Awingu native app for Android is Android for Work enabled and as such, Awingu is also an ‘Android for Work’ partner. Next to this, Awingu has a Single-Sign-On with Google Apps for Work, enables businesses to adopt Google Chomebooks while still getting secure access to corporate applications and files.

Awingu and HP Inc have a local partnership concentrated on the HP Elite X3 solution:

The Elite X3 is a Microsoft Continuum based device that connect the smartphone as a full brown PC to a screen and keyboard or a ‘thin client’ laptop dock. Thanks to Awingu, Elite X3 customers can easily access their core legacy applications and files inside the Elite X3 world. Customers don’t need to migrate their IT infrastructure and applications, they can just add Awingu to their existing IT environment.
